Upon the execution of our product, we ran our product through APriori to receieve the cost estimate of our product and to see if we did indeed save money through our new design. Upon analyzing the cost estimates of the old and new designs, we successfully made our product more manufacturable in terms of cost. There was a 17% decrease in Fully Burdened Costs and 32.5% saved in Total Capital Investments.

When comparing the PDS of the original design and the new assembly, our new assembly excelled in the areas of Maintenance, Product Costs, Size/Weight, Ergonomics, and Processes in comparison to the original design. We decreased the number of pieces required in the tripod by 5 and reduced the costs by 17% for Fully Burdened Costs. The Product's weight has been reduced by about an ounce and less maintenance is required to utilize and maintain the new product. Less processes are needed to create the product and made the new tripod significantly  easier to transport.

The table below is the aPriori cost analysis of the final assembly. Note the significant decreases in the Fully Burdened Costs and Total Capital Investments from the initial design to our new design.
